Do you feel rooted in your community and want to help those around you? The Social Service Worker – Indigenous Specialization program through Oshki-Wenjack gives you the knowledge and experience to support individuals, families, and entire communities. We help you develop your skills to address the social, cultural, and political issues that affect the lives of your clients. You will help people overcome barriers to health care, social services, legal services, and other services to connect them with the supports they need. This program in partnership with Sault College mixes classroom courses with field placements for a holistic, Indigenous approach to social services. Graduates can register with the College of Social Work and Social Service Workers.
