The Pimache-O-Win Pathways for Indigenous Women program at Oshki-Wenjack aims to help Indigenous women discover new educational and career pathways. Whether you're starting a new career or returning to school after a break, this program provides the guidance and support you need. Offered as either an online workshop series or in-person with a host community or organization, the program features culturally sensitive workshops tailored for Indigenous women wanting to resume their education. Participants receive step-by-step information on upgrading their education, registering for college and university programs, securing funding, and exploring new career opportunities. This program also connects participants with a network of elders, leaders, experts, alumni, and mentors, fostering lifelong bonds and support systems.

Are you seeking a new pathway in your life? Want to start a career but feel you’ve been out of school too long? It’s never too late to apply to college or university. Even if you didn’t finish high school, Oshki-Wenjack can help you find your new beginnings. The Pimache-O-Win Pathways for Indigenous Women is an online workshop series designed specifically for Indigenous women like you who wish to return to school. This four-week, culturally sensitive workshop series provides step-by-step guidance on upgrading education, registering for college and university programs, finding funding, and exploring new career pathways that suit you. We’ll support you at every step.

Please keep in mind that books are not included in tuition and need to be purchased separately.
Getting funding for this program?
Contact your First Nation community funding agency to confirm deadlines for funding applications and apply for funding. Your application may only be considered if your application is received on time.
Oshki-Wenjack is not responsible for submitting your funding applications, but staff can support you in completing them. You may also wish to apply to OSAP for loans and grants. In addition, Oshki-Wenjack’s Financial Aid Officer (financial-aid@oshki.ca) is available to assist you with OSAP applications and to help you research and apply for scholarships and bursaries.
Once it arrives, send your confirmed sponsorship letter to admissions@oshki.ca. You can register for your classes once the Sponsorship Letter is received.
