Pre-Apprenticeship Training is a pathway to apprenticeship for skilled trades. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive Heavy Duty Equipment Technician – Mechanic Level 1 in-class certification, and will be eligible for apprenticeships targeted toward the mining industry.

If you’re interested in working in a trade but don’t have the skills or experience to get a job as an apprentice, you can apply for this training free of any tuition – costs for textbooks, personal protective equipment, tools, travel and lodging are covered.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive Heavy Duty Equipment Technician – Mechanic Level 1 in-class certification, and will be eligible for mechanical apprenticeships targeted toward the mining industry.
