A diploma in Police Foundations prepares you for a career with many opportunities including provincial/municipal police agencies, public and private law enforcement agencies, the Canadian military, corrections, and Border Services.

Your Career Path

In our Police Foundations program, you will learn everything you need to begin your career in policing, including criminology, criminal and civil law, fitness and lifestyle management, and forensics. This diploma prepares you for a career in provincial/municipal police agencies, public and private law enforcement agencies, Canadian military, corrections, and Border Services.

In partnership with Confederation College, Oshki-Wenjack’s special blended delivery method allows you to stay in your home community for the majority of the program. You will take courses through on-line and independent study at home and attend classes in Thunder Bay twice per semester.*
