When you choose teaching as part of your path you have the opportunity to make impact on future generations in our communities. This degree program prepares you to be a certified teacher in Ontario for the Primary and Junior divisions (Grades K-6).

Your Career Path

An Aboriginal Bachelor of Education (Primary/Junior Division) degree prepares you for a career as a school teacher in the province of Ontario at the Primary/Junior levels (grades K-6). In this program you will learn about classroom management, special education, and teaching with media. Upon completion of this program you will have employment opportunities that include classroom teaching, school administration, and Kindergarten programs.

In partnership with Brock University, Oshki-Wenjack’s unique cultural and community-based program delivery model enables you to stay within your home community for the majority of the program – which includes practicums.*
