Honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People

May 5 is a day to remember and honour the lives of MMIWG2S. Red dresses are displayed across the country as powerful symbols of the women, girls, and Two-Spirit people who are missing or have been taken too soon.

This is not just a moment of remembrance — it is a call to action. The violence faced by Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people is a persistent, ongoing crisis that continues to impact families and communities across the country.

We walk today in solidarity, demanding justice, accountability, and lasting change.
