NAN First Nations, Canada and Lakehead University come Together for Historic Treaty Symposium

THUNDER BAY, ON: The Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN)/Canada Treaty Discussion Forum, in partnership with Lakehead University’s Aboriginal Initiatives, will host an historic Treaty Symposium this month. The Symposium will showcase presentations on Treaty No. 5 and Treaty No. 9 by First Nations, Elders, and leading academics, and the treaty relationship between NAN and the British Crown as represented by Canada and Ontario.
  

Inclusion Works ’11 National Aboriginal Recruitment Fair

Canada’s only national post-secondary Aboriginal recruitment fair will be held for the third consecutive year. This year’s event, hosted by the Aboriginal Human Resource Council and its Leadership Circle partners, will be held at the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel, Montreal, QC, May 2-5, 2011, in conjunction with Inclusion Works ’11.
