Starting with orientation
Each new program begins with an intensive three day orientation for the students. Culturally appropriate on learning strategiesand personal development is provided. Individual students have the opportunity to meet their Coordinators and the Student Support Worker, also to inform students about imporrtant topics related to transition, registration, and academic expectations.
It is important to attend the Student Orientation to maximize your learning about course delivery methods, role as a student, study skills, and academic deadlines. You will learn how to balance these responsibilities.
Extracurricular Activities
Most days students are scheduled to attend classes in the evening, but in the case that you do not have classes, you can access information about EVENTS in Thunder Bay. Social activities are an important part in promoting strength awareness and team building.
