Welcome to a new beginning and a new learning path at Oshki-Pimache-O-Win.

Oshki-Pimache-O-Win was founded in 1996 with the goal of serving the unique post-secondary education and training needs of Nishnawbe Aski Nation; this new website enables Oshki-Pimache-O-Win to continue its distinctive approach of passing on our cultural skills, traditions, knowledge and values while providing education to the people of Nishnawbe Aski Nation and region.

Our people, no matter where they live, must have access to high quality post-secondary education and training opportunities. We at Oshki-Pimache-O-Win are constantly working to develop new and improved post-secondary programs and courses through funding from a range of sources.

While our new website contains detailed information about our programs and courses, it also explains how Oshki-Pimache-O-Win encourages an Aboriginal friendly environment for our students. Stories from the viewpoint of our students, instructors and staff describe how students are encouraged to work as a team, the welcoming atmosphere they feel while studying on the Oshki-Pimache-O-Win campus, and the advantages of learning while continuing on with their present occupations in the community.

We encourage people who are interested in pursuing post-secondary education to check out our new blended-delivery model, which offers on-campus sessions and distance education sessions through online platforms, teleconference, video conference and independent study. Oshki-Pimache-O-Win provides a student-centred and culturally appropriate learning environment that is well suited to Nishnawbe Aski Nation and region students.
