Application Procedure:
Oshki‐Pimache‐O‐Win offers accredited and non‐accredited programs. All prospective
students must submit an Oshki‐Pimache‐O‐Win Program Application form. In addition
to our application form, applicants to the accredited college diploma or certificate
programs must also submit an application to Ontario College Application Services
(OCAS). Paper OCAS applications can be obtained through OSHKI or through the First
Nation community education offices. OCAS also has an online application available on
their website at www.ontariocolleges.ca . Please note that a non‐refundable $85.00
application fee is required with the OCAS application. This can be paid by a certified
cheque or money order if a student is submitting a paper application, or by credit card
if a student is applying online. Applications will not be processed until payment has
been received at OCAS.
After the application and all required documentation has been received at OCAS the
application is reviewed in its entirety by the respective college. An admission decision
is then made and the student is notified of the decision in writing.
Application Requirements:
To be admitted to an accredited college certificate or diploma program, the following
steps must be completed:
A) Prospective students with their OSSD or equivalent must submit the following
documents:
1. Completed Oshki‐Pimache‐O‐Win Program Application Form
2. Completed OCAS (Ontario College Application Service) Form
3. $85.00 OCAS application fee (Certified Cheque or Money Order)
4. Official* transcript(s) from the last institution attended
5. Letter of Sponsorship
*Official transcript: an original document or certified true copy of your grades that
has been issued by the school you attended and has the school stamp and/or seal on it.
Any transcript that does not have a stamp or seal will be considered an unofficial
transcript.
B) Prospective students without their OSSD or equivalent must contact the Student
Recruitment Officer to arrange to write a Mature Student test. Upon successful
completion of the Mature Student test, prospective students must then submit
the following documents:
1. Completed Oshki‐Pimache‐O‐Win Program Application Form
2. Completed OCAS (Ontario College Application Service) Form
3. $85 OCAS application fee (Certified Cheque or Money Order)
4. Letter of Sponsorship
